Having travelled to Avignon on Eurostar, we had an easy car ride from the station to Maubec. Oustalado is a lovely apartment, nice and cool inside, with two very good sized bedrooms and a very 'french' kitchen and comfortable lounge/diner - all very well kitted out. The garden is wonderful too with plenty of shaded parts and a good sized pool - and even some bikes which are great as the area is perfect for cycling. We loved the village which is so peaceful, but with also a lot to do. The local restaurant in the Old Town must be visited as the cuisine is divine and brilliant value. There is a little cinema and also a mountain to climb and lots of lovely walks and places to visit nearby too. We are looking forward to our next visit.

spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely apartment idyllically situated on the edge of the old town. The apartment is clean, light and airy with a great pool area. We had perfect weather so took advantage of the many country walks in the area around the apartment. Very peaceful location and will certainly return.

We visited Oustlado with our two young kids (2 & 4) having driven down from the UK and had a great time. The accomodation is spacious and very nicely presented, the facilities are great and it's easy to lock the balcony gate to stop 'them' escaping down to the pool. The garden and pool is excellent: totally secure, very private and shady during those sweltering, lazy days! The BBQ area is really nice too. The old town is pretty and local shops and restaurants are conveniently close and of recommendable quality! Visits out to worthwhile spots was easily achieved and it's convenient location means you can go see something in the morning and chill by the pool with a botle of something all afternoon. Highly recomended. l All is all - a highly enjoyable holiday had by all.

My wife and 3 children spent an amazing week at Oustalado in August. We flew from LGW to Marseilles (1hr 20 min) and then hired a car and drove the easy 90 mins to Maubec. What we found was beautiful: a spacious maisonette with a massive garden surrounded by spectacular hills, nestled at the foot of an ancient and unspoilt medieval village. Everything we needed was there: pool, bikes, excellent gas BBQ and comfortable accommodation in a pretty French house. This area of Luberon is exquisite. The Sunday market at Coustellet, 2 km down the road, is one of the best I've been to. It's a 'proper' farmers market with around 80 stalls often selling only one thing. This means that you can buy amazing tomatoes, that need two hands to carry, from the person who actually grew them. Dining out is a treat as the two local restaurants are both within a delightful walk. Great pizzas at one and fantastic fois gras and steaks at the other. All washed down with wine which is grown in the fields around you. We ate out a few times, but enjoyed most dinners in the BBQ area in the garden, grilling local produce under a canopy of vines and stars. Perfect. We enjoyed our local excursions to the amazing town of Bonnieux and to the cooling caves in Le Thor. Most of the time we just stayed in our area as it had everything we needed. I cannot recommend Oustalado enough as it has given us one of the best holidays our family has ever had. We'll be back!

We spent a lovely week at Oustalado, a charming house with a great garden and a very nice pool - perfectly located to discover Luberon! The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed discovering the old village of Maubec, the market of Coustellet on Sunday and the perched villages of Luberon.
